I am a multidisciplinary creative at heart. I am passionate about creating resources and developing forms of support for people living with Eating Disorders (ED), an illness which has touched and deeply shaped my own life. Having fought against it for almost ten years, I bring a compassionate and grounded perspective to informing the development of ED recovery-focused programs.
“My experience going through several state-wide medical systems and therapeutic programs has cultivated a strong desire to push for meaningful change and innovation in how we both treat and view those living with this disorder.”
I aim to work closely alongside professionals to review and design programs that are more inclusive, flexible and that above all, prepare individuals for the messy but beautiful reality of the real world. Programs that help people move past rigid, punitive rules that dominate one's mind and life, to instead develop an intuitive, adaptable and above all, joyous relationship with food.
Having a background in film, whilst simultaneously working in cyber security, writing a book, and chipping away at way too many creative projects to count, I am a serial wearer of many hats. But what drives many of these interests is ultimately an innate desire to express my authentic self, and to inspire and help others do so as well.
When I'm not (over)thinking or deep-diving one of my many interests, I enjoy reading, writing, film photography, tinkering and dreaming of my next caramel slice and long black pairing.
